Let’s Take a Look at Girls’ Inside the Episode for “Good Man”
HBO has posted another Inside the Episode for season five of Girls.
The second episode of Girls’ fifth season was really all about Hannah, regardless of the attention other storylines may or may not have gotten. Her father had something of a “gay emergency,” and it’s the relationship between her and her father that colors this Inside the Episode.
Although these clips are not long and aren’t all that informative, they do a bit to the Girls trivia reservoir. This particular clip, however, goes a little (but not much) further than that. Check it out:

Lena Dunham talks about how he real life father mourning the death of his brother had an impact on the episode. The tile of the episode “Good Man,” was taken from a scene that wasn’t used. It works well as the episode title — it’s a little more subtle than “Wedding Day” and “Japan.”
Oh, and in case you were curious, that Chihuahua’s name is apparently Mojito. So there’s that. We also learn that the barista that berates a confused Ray is played by Grace Dunham, Lena Dunham’s sister.
Unfortunately Dunham doesn’t spend more time talking about having Hannah grow up a bit by having to tend to her father, and neither Marnie or Shoshanna were in the last episode so there is nothing said about them.

Next week’s Inside the Episode should prove to be a tad more interesting, if only because Dunham will be forced to talk about filming in Japan.
