All The Way’s Anthony Mackie Will be on The Late Late Show

The Late Late Show will play host to Anthony Mackie, who will be there to promote All The Way.

The Late Late Show has become something of a HBO promo machine lately. Silicon Valley’s Zach Woods was recently on James Corden’s late night party show, and now Anthony Mackie will be on to play games and talk about All The Way.

HBO has been promoting All The Way hard, more so than many other HBO projects. It’s obvious that the network considers this a prestige production and wants to get it out there as much as possible. It would be cynical to think that it’s all also part of an early awards push, but hey, it probably is. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Mackie also stopped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert lately, so he’s been making the rounds. Check out a clip of that below in which he talks about New Orleans:

Anthony Mackie is most famous for playing Falcon in the Captain America and The Avengers films, but in All The Way he plays Martin Luther King, Jr. fighting for Civil Rights. That’s a huge difference in roles, but does acts as a testament to Mackie’s acting chops.

For those that aren’t interested in the upcoming HBO movie, it’s likely that Anthony Mackie will also touch on Captain America: Civil War, which just came out and has received insane reviews. Marvel movies also do fairly well, but this is on another level. Marvel’s winning streak has been almost too hard to believe, but there it is.

HBO may be fully behind All The Way, but most people are going to be familiar with Mackie’s Marvel work. Still, a little dual promotion never really hurt anyone. Probably.
