Here are the Shows HBO is Bringing to SDCC
HBO is bringing some of its biggest guns to San Diego Comic Con
San Diego Comic Con, or SDCC as it’s more commonly known, is something of a media palace. Long ago did Comic Con stop being a convention catered to just comic book readers — it’s now a behemoth. And SDCC is the one at the top, and therefore the one that television networks and film studios pay the most attention to.
HBO is no stranger to SDCC, and this year will be no different. HBO is brining three of its own shows to SDCC, including Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, and Vice Principals. After last weekend’s season finale, it goes without saying that the Game of Thrones panel is going to be the place to be. That particular panel will be moderated by It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Rob McElhenney. McElhenney previously hosted a fantastic Game of Thrones roundtable that is absolutely worth hunting down.

The Game of Thrones panel will include a ridiculous number of the cast, including the actors behind Melisandre, Daavos, Bran, and Sansa. And that’s not even half of the list.
The Silicon Valley panel will be moderated by a writer from Entertainment Weekly and will include Mike Judge and the main cast. The Vice Principals panel will be moderated by The Nerdist’s Matt Mira and will also have the main cast. This will be the first public appearance of the Vice Principals cast, and it shows that HBO is confident in the series to get it out there like that.
Out top of the aforementioned three, Cinemax will also be bringing Outcast.
Next: There are thirteen episodes of Game of Thrones left.
The Game of Thrones panel, however, will probably prove to be the most popular pick. For those that won’t be able to make it, many of the SDCC panels will be streamed and saved online for posterity.
