Discover Westworld isn’t finished yet

The time that many of us have been waiting for is almost here. That, of course, would be the premiere of Westworld, which will occur this Sunday night. HBO’s marketing of the sci-fi western epic has been relentless and oftentimes brilliant, culminating in a party at the famous Chinese Theater.

The destination for the majority of Westworld happenings has been at the official site, Discover Westworld. In case you haven’t fully explored it yet, be sure do so as soon as possible. Discover Westworld is a meticulously created Westworld experience, and not all of its secrets have been revealed yet. Earlier today, Westworld dropped a hint for another hidden teaser via Twitter:

More from HBO

It’s not as difficult to figure out as other hints have been, though unlike earlier secrets — like signing up for a room at Westworld proper — the results are immediate. Clicking the logo in the center of the page will reveal the opening title sequence, or at least a piece of it. It’s just about everything we have come to expect from Westworld, which is to say that it’s visually stunning. It also features a bit of robot sex, because why not.

We’ve seen a high number of trailers, teasers, and just about everything else, but it still feels that we haven’t seen everything. And that’s definitely saying something. It’s a certain achievement to have come this far and not yet feel fatigued by all of the Westworld hype. Once Sunday night rolls around things will only kick up more.

The intro continues the proud tradition of excellent HBO title sequences, including recent ones like The Night Of and True Detective a little behind that. Consistency can be a great thing.
