HBO Posts a new The Leftovers Season 3 Spot

It’s time to catchup with an incredible show

There are great shows on HBO that get massive amounts of attention, like Game of Thrones, and then there are shows that are just as good (if not better) and get less than a quarter of that attention. Enter The Leftovers season 3, the final season of show that never really got a fair shake. A new teaser from HBO wants to make it clear that The Leftovers is a show that absolutely should not be missed.

The teaser shows us quick clips of The Leftovers season 3, as well as various quotes from media outlets. Starting last season, The Leftovers became a critical darling, though it has never been able to catch up in the ratings department. Getting a third season has been described as “a gift” – a chance to end the series on their own terms. That does make it seem like The Leftovers was just a hair away from being canceled, which likely has some truth to it.

If you haven’t watched the previous two seasons, HBO would really appreciate it if you would catch up before the April premiere. It looks like they’re going to want as big of a ratings push for the final season as they can possibly get, and that means reminding viewers that both seasons are steaming on HBO Go and HBO Now. That means that you can easily catch up on your own time, something which we also encourage you to do.

The Leftovers is by no means an easy watch, but it is incredible, sometimes chilling, drama. It may not be for everyone, but Indiewire really isn’t messing around when they call it “the best show on television.” This is the series that should prove to everyone that, yes Damon Lindelof actually does know what he’s doing.
